Chief Science Officers (CSOs) are 6th to 12th grade student STEM ambassadors who are identified by their peers and demonstrate interest in STEM, innovation and advocacy.

Want to be a Chief Science Officer?
- A school leader must complete the Site Intent Form (Link Coming Soon) to indicate your district’s interest in participating in the program (be prepared to identify and provide contact information for a teacher advisor on this form).
- Once the site intent form is complete, work with a teacher advisor to select or elect your 3-5 student Chief Science Officers for grades 6-8 and/or 9-12.
- Next, have each Chief Science Officer and their legal parent/guardian register using the CSO STUDENT Registration Form. (Link Coming Soon)
